I'm Anna Hargett.
As a stenographic CART Captioner, my job is to deliver high-quality captions of spoken content in realtime.
CART captioning is essential for deaf or Hard-of-Hearing individuals, those who speak English as a second language, and anyone who needs text support so they can receive accurate information and effectively decide for themselves what to think, believe, and do.

Fast and accurate, I’ve got my steno machine rocking out at 225+ words per minute (WPM). I provide captions for everything from government trainings to live-streamed events.
I've scored gigs with some heavy hitters - Federal Government agencies, Universities across the US, as well as international clients in Beijing, China.
Interestingly, I've found that captioning for young clients (particularly middle school) can be more of a thrill. It's similar to the punk rock shows I love: loud, chaotic, and like a circus.
Home base is Fort Worth, TX, but I’m ready to provide my CART services for any event (virtually or on-site) from small town meetings to international boardrooms.
